It's all about the groove...
The Natural Curve is producer Paul Cullen. In the beginning… Cullen signed deals with World’s End Management and Epic Records. The early demos caught the ear of Bjork collaborator Simon Lovejoy.
Working together with singer Jo Laundy, they formed the band TAXI, securing a distribution deal with Vinyl Distribution Ltd.The first TAXI album, Chocolate, was spotted by scouts from Frankfurt-based label Infracom Records. A two-album deal was signed, resulting in the critically acclaimed nu-jazz album Blue Zero One and The Accessory.TAXI ended. Since then, Paul Cullen continues to produce his own music, working with friends and collaborators, as the Natural Curve. With a portfolio that touches everything from nu-jazz and R&B, to techno and drum and bass, the Natural Curve doesn’t sit in any specific genre. “Pigeon holes are for the birds.”
